You can delete your Flare account and everything tied to it at any time, whether you signed up with an email and password or with Google or Facebook.
Log in, go to Profile, and open Danger zone near the bottom (or use the dedicated Delete your account page, same action). Typing DELETE to confirm permanently removes your account and everything tied to it: problems you’ve posted, responses and messages, jobs, saved addresses, and professional credentials. This happens immediately, with no undo and no recovery window.
Deleting your Flare account the same way above (Profile → Danger zone) removes everything Flare stored about you, regardless of how you originally signed in. Disconnecting or removing Flare’s access from your Google or Facebook account separately only stops Flare from signing you in that way again. It doesn’t delete your Flare data, so use the Danger zone for that.
Right now, logging in is the only way to delete your account. Flare doesn’t have a separate contact channel yet for people who can’t. If that’s your situation, hold tight: a real support contact is coming before Flare opens up more widely (see Help).
Export your data as a JSON file first, if you want a copy before you delete your account. See Privacy for what Flare stores and why.
