Flare is built to work for people using a keyboard, a screen reader, or a browser set to reduce motion or increase text size, not just a mouse and default settings. This page says plainly what that means today.
Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus state, not just a mouse. Status is never shown by color alone: an icon or label always carries the same meaning too. Every meaningful image has real alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than read aloud as noise. Motion respects your system’s reduced-motion setting site-wide: turn it on and animations either stop or shrink to an instant change, not just slow down. Text and color contrast are targeted against WCAG 2.2 AA throughout, including in dark sections and on photos.
These practices are built in as we go, but Flare hasn’t had a full, formal accessibility audit by a third party, and we haven’t tested every page with a real screen reader end to end. We’d rather say that plainly than claim a certification we don’t have. If you hit a real barrier, it helps us more than an audit would.
If something on Flare doesn’t work with the technology you use, or is genuinely hard to use, tell us on the Help page. A real person reads it, not a form that goes nowhere. Include the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened, if you can.
